its importance in the disciplinary field of phonoaudiology

This work seeks to promote the education of future speech therapist professionals, who work together with the community in the identification and understanding of their health needs and problems, from a comprehensive perspective. As well as it intends to contribute to the new profile of the graduates, within the framework of the curricular change of the Degree in Phonoaudiology (FCM, UNR). It is considered relevant to attend to the social determinants of health (SDH), that refer to the social conditions in which a person is born, grows, lives, works and ages, so it is necessary to recognize their importance in the future professional practice of students of the upper cycle of the aforementioned race. To develop this research, a poll was elaborated for the study population, which is made up of 103 students. It was inquired about the DSS and the attention/ care activities of phonoaudiology health, which are identified by the students, during their degree training. The methodology was based on the triangulation of quantitative and qualitative aspects.
