Dengue
A public health problem in rosario and Gran Rosario

The objective of this report is to analyze the impact of the dengue epidemic on the most vulnerable sectors of Rosario andGran Rosario metropolitan area, identifying the factors that have contributed to the spread of the virus and evaluating community and government responses, given the growth of the number of cases in recent years. On one hand, debate about the scarcity of public policies that are thought from the experience of the neighbors, that is, knowing the territories and needs to then plan strategies that manage to respond to collective demands including geographical, social, economic, health, environmental and cultural processes of each community. On the other hand, health policies that are increasingly further removed from the needs of the people and closer to the logic of the market, highlighting health as such a commodity. From this, different debates are opened to problematize and comprehensively address the health-disease-care process and particularly state intervention. From there, several questions arise that we ask ourselves, from the training of future professionals to the actions of the health team in an increasingly complex context. Think about strategies where the health system can work alongside the educational system and where prevention and promotion measures play a fundamental role in those spaces. And finally, debate the role of the State and its actions in socio-health problems that undoubtedly put collective health at risk
