La historia de la Medicina tiene destacados profesionales y momentos apropiados, capaces de estimular y coadyuvar al aprendizaje de varias de sus disciplinas.
Este trabajo, basado en la vida del anatomista e histólogo Friedrich Gustav Jacob Henle aborda acontecimientos llamativos por él vividos, el contexto histórico y la repercusión artística ulterior que tuvieron, pasibles de motivar e incentivar al aprendizaje de Anatomía e Histología y, complementariamente, de enriquecer la cultura general del alumnado, imprescindible para quienes ejercerán Medicina.
